David is one of the leading online dealers of conjuring memorabilia and historical items. He served two terms as President of the New England Magic Collectors’ Association, was co-owner of S.S. Adams Company, one of America’s oldest magic and novelty firms. Haversat owns the Petrie-Lewis (P&L) magic mfg. company which was founded in 1917. David has also published over 15 magic books relating to magic history through his company 1878 Press. The Haversat collection comprises of historically significant items from Professor Anderson, Alexander Herrmann, Buatier de Kolta, Harry Kellar, Harry Houdini, Howard Thurston and many more.
Tom has been involved with magic for over 40 years including collecting and researching magic history since 1976. He served as program chair and master of ceremonies for the Magic Collectors’ Association (MCA) international weekend conventions for 14 years. He currently serves as master of ceremonies for the New England Magic Collectors Association (NEMCA). The Society of American Magicians (S.A.M.), America’s oldest magic society, selected him as their National Historian. His column, “The Nielsen Gallery” has appeared monthly in the society’s magazine M-U-M since 2010. His memberships also include the International Brotherhood of Magicians (I.B.M.) and the Magicians Alliance of Eastern States (M.A.E.S.).
